New sets of Sunday School Lesson on the "Gospel Project" are in. Most care groups are now into Dr. Bill Bright's "A Handbook for Christian Maturity" - maturing through Bible Study and Actual Sharing of the Gospel. One-on-One Teams are gradually increasing. For the past two and a half years, PIBC's Youth has met consistently every Sunday morning. With that, came a growing desire to meet more often during the week. Starting January 25th, we're hosting a brand new youth night for all middle and high school students. Invest in deeper, richer interactions with Jesus and with each other!
THIS WEEK: Friday night meeting with our friend Maina. Get ready to learn about missions this Friday at 7pm. March 1 March 8 March 22 6855 Olney-Laytonsville Road Laytonsville, MD 20855 As requested by our very own youth, this year's annual Lock-In is happening! All High School and Middle School students, along with their parents, are invited to church on December 28th at 7PM. The fun continues until December 29th at 10 AM. Their youth leaders (along with the college and young professionals) will be in full effect to host all the festivities.
What to expect: -Games -Movies -Pizza -Devotional time -Sleep(?) Things to know: -Each parent is responsible for drop-off and pick-up (I know some of you have weekend plans, so if necessary, feel free to leave early). -We encourage everyone to bring snacks or their favorite drink to share with everyone. -We have a zero-tolerance rule regarding alcohol, drugs, and unruly behavior. We have the authority to send anyone home for any offensive misdemeanor. -As for sleeping conditions; we have a designated room for girls, and a separate room for boys. -You may bring friends or family as long as they have their parent's written permission. -As a safety precaution, the church building will be locked for the most of the night. Things to bring: -Your Bible, Journal, and a Pen. -Sleeping bag with Pillow. -Toiletries (Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Pajamas, etc...). -Snacks or Drinks (optional). -Cellphones (for emergencies only) -DVDs (No rated R stuff!) Please approach me for any questions/concerns/allergies that the leaders need to know of.
